Much ado about nothing

We're definitely settling in.

We've had a lot of fun house projects: painting the deck, getting a barbecute and freezer, installing solar garden lights to luminate the sidewalk to the back (side, as Jeremie insists) door, installing a chandelier, moving a mirror, and just generally making the place our own. It's good. I have big fun dreams for my office decorating!

As far as a church goes, I like the one about 2 blocks from our house so far - they're friendly and I like having a church in our community. So we'll see how that pans out - they're still looking for a new pastor, so we'll have to see what he (or she?) is like.

My work is going alright - some days are more fun than others, but isn't that always the way of it? The upsides to working at home: eating from the fridge, reading or watching tv, playing computer games on lunch break. No commute! The downsides: I don't see people all day, and tend to be a bit more chatty when Jeremie comes home. Poor man. Plus everything is just a bit more work.

We're hosting a thing for the people from jeremie's work: ladies get a Mary Kay makeover and photoshoot while the men do manly things in the yard like barbecue and sports of some sort. Here's to hoping it works out well!

Fatigue is setting in, so perhaps I'll blog more another day. And runescape calls.

One little sister buys a house, the other buys a truck... wow, I feel old.

Oh, and Sarah (friend of mine), says you have to go to Sam's (restaurant).

:) Hugs!

From your photos on Flickr it appears your party was a success. Glad to hear the house stuff is still as much fun as it is work.
